‘I am the devil’: Former classmate reveals school gunman had ‘online devil worshiping page’ as childhood barber recounts how he never spoke and just stared at floors

The Sandy Hook gunman worshiped the devil and had an online page dedicated to Satan, a former classmate revealed, as his childhood barber recalls Adam Lanza never spoke and would stare at the floor every time he had his hair cut.

Lanza’s worshiping page had the word ‘Devil’ written in red, Gothic-style letters against a black background, Trevor L. Todd told The National Enquirer, something which he said was ‘weird’ and ‘gave him the chills’.

The FBI are trying to piece together his smashed up hard drive to see if his online footprint will reveal any motive for the killing, but they strongly believe he made use of devil-worshiping and suicide sites and boasted of his murder plans on message forums.

Adam Lanza’s childhood barber Bob Skuba revealed today that Nancy Lanza stopped bringing her son in for haircuts a few years ago so he thought he had moved away from the area.

Report: Mexican Authorities Agree to Release Imprisoned Former U.S. Marine

A Marine veteran chained to a bed in one of México’s most notorious prisons will be home for Christmas.

A Mexican judge in Matamoros ordered the immediate release of Jon Hammar Friday morning. He had been detained August 13 for bringing a .410 antique shotgun over the border while en route to a surfing trip. He and a friend, who was also detained but released after three days, were traveling on a 1972 refurbished Winnebago motor home.

The Mexican court ruled that Hammar, who served seven years in Iraq and Afghanistan and who suffered from post traumatic stress disorder, had no criminal intent to bring the antique 60-year-old rifle across the border and had his constitutional rights violated.

Hobby Lobby loses court battle on contraceptive mandate

A federal appeals court has denied Oklahoma City-based Hobby Lobby’s request to block a portion of the federal health care law that requires the company provide insurance coverage for emergency contraception pills.

The U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday denied the arts-and-crafts company’s request for an injunction while it appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Hobby Lobby’s lawsuit says the mandate violates the religious beliefs of its Christian founder and CEO David Green and his family. The Greens say requiring insurance coverage for the birth-control pills known as the “morning-after” and “week-after” pills forces them to either violate their religious beliefs or face hefty fines.

The federal appeals court ruling upheld a district court that found the religious burden to the Green family is indirect.

The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty is assisting Hobby Lobby in its court battle. Spokesman Kyle Duncan says “The Green family is disappointed with this ruling.” However, he says the Greens will continue to make their case on appeal that this “unconstitutional mandate infringes their right to earn a living while remaining true to their faith.”

800,000 Illegal Immigrants Ordered Deported Remain in US, Could Receive Benefits

Nearly 800,000 illegal immigrants who have been ordered deported still remain in the United States, and many of them, including convicted criminals, are getting access to “secure areas, education grants, and housing assistance” in addition to food stamps and driver’s licenses.

An audit of the verification and screening system states and the federal government use to prevent illegal immigrants from receiving benefits found it fails nearly 12% of the time.

“The failures in our sample include individuals who applied for unemployment and disability insurance, food stamps, driver’s licenses and other benefits,” the auditors said. “Several individuals had criminal records, including assault with a deadly weapon, extortion, drug convictions and other convictions such as burglary, stalking and child abuse.”

The Department of Homeland Security inspector general’s audit found that nearly “800,000 immigrants are living in the U.S. who already have been ordered deported but have not yet left — or been removed by the government — from the country.” And because the the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program, which “is supposed to maintain an up-to-date list of those deportable aliens so that other government agencies are aware of their status and know they should be denied benefits,” fails nearly 12% of the time, many of these 800,000 immigrants also are illegally receiving taxpayer-funded benefits.

Major Winter Storm Tracking Through the Central United States

A powerful system continues to bring significant, widespread impacts in the form of blizzard conditions, severe thunderstorms, damaging winds and fire weather conditions to the central United States. Meanwhile, another storm is beginning to impact the Pacific Northwest and northern California, where heavy mountain snow and coastal flash flooding are possible through at least Thursday.

As the Winter Solstice takes hold tomorrow and the world ends, Williams should remain clear until Christmas Eve on Monday when we are likely to see snow. Snow accumulations are not yet forecast. Currently it is sunny but cool with temperatures expected to reach a high of 50 while at night lows reaching 2 degrees.

Video shows Crowder harassed by the man who later struck him.

LANSING—Internet sites are abuzz with accusations from both sides of the Lansing Right-to-Work fight between Steven Crowder and a union member last week. The Huffington Post is reporting that union member Ken Spitzley witnessed Crowder provoking fights which Mr. Crowder denies.

According to the Deadline Detroit blog, the New York Times reported;

“Unfortunately for Mr. Crowder, a look at the video broadcast on the Sean Hannity show appears to show quite clearly that he left out an important section of the footage when he put together his edit. A section of the Fox News broadcast preserved by the Web site Mediaite shows that Mr. Hannity’s producers at Fox News started the clip five seconds earlier than Mr. Crowder did. What the extra footage reveals is the man who punched Mr. Crowder being knocked to the ground seconds before and then getting up and taking a swing at the comedian.”

They, also did not show the following video from an hour earlier which shows the man who struck Crowder harassing and verbally assaulting the FOX contributor. Some other union members are even seen warning the man to not cause trouble intimating that is what the FOX news team wanted. During the video Mr. Crowder seems visibly agitated, but non-confrontational.

MEDIAite news is accusing Crowder of starting the fight by pushing union members away from a tent that they eventually tore down. The tent contained women; one in a wheelchair. They show a video interview with Steven Crowder at the Canadian Sun News.

There is still no word on if the union man who struck him is willing to fight in a sanctioned match for charity.

26 reported killed in Newton, Conn., school shooting

NEWTOWN, Conn. — A lone gunman killed 26 people at an elementary school here, including 18 children, in a terrifying early Friday morning shooting spree.

The Associated Press and local media reported the shooter, an unidentified adult male, was also dead at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Two handguns were recovered at the scene. Mayor Mark Boughton said several victims had been taken to local hospitals.

Groups of students — some crying, some holding hands — were being escorted away from the school by their teachers. Some witnesses reported of up to 100 shots.

The shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School is the latest in a series mass shootings in the U.S. this year, including Tuesday’s assault by a lone gunman at a Portland, OR., shopping mall that left two dead and one wounded.

The US opposes demonopolization of the Internet

This week’s conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Dubai failed to produce an agreement on country-level Internet governance. After heated debates, the conference passed a vague-worded resolution calling on the ITU to play a more active role in the development of the Internet.

Russia and China suggested giving partial control over the allocation of web addresses either to ITU member states or to a specialized agency under the aegis of the United Nations. At present, this is the exclusive monopoly of the United States it exercises through the U.S.-based Internet Corporation for Assigned Names (ICANN) controlled by the U.S. Commerce Department.

The United States is visibly unprepared to share this monopoly with anybody else. All main IT resources, servers and transfer protocols are located in the United States, notes Russian IT expert Anton Korobkov-Zemlyansky.
